Baba Aladura Bob-Manuel of C & S Condoles Gombe Govt Over Death of CAN Women
The Baba Aladura and Prelate of the Eternal Sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraphim Church Worldwide, His Most Eminence (Dr.) David D.L. Bob-Manuel, has commiserated with the Gombe State Government over the ghastly accident involving 12 women of the state wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).
The women were returning from a National Convention in Port Harcourt when they the accident along the Port Harcourt – Aba Road on Sunday evening, leaving two dead and two others critically injured and receiving treatment at the Federal Medical Centre in Abia State.
Dr. Bob-Manuel also commiserated with the families of the deceased, the Chairman of CAN and the governor and people of Abia State.
The Prelate said he believed the Christian women died in active service and that God would reward them eternally. “For those that are still in critical state, I join prayers with their families to God for speedy recovery.”
“As Christians, we have the unshaken believe that we do not necessarily die. We merely translated from this realm of existence to a better one in which there is bliss,” he counseled.
Dr. Bob-Manuel advised the Federal Government to take seriously, the issue of rehabilitation of roads and highways in the country to check accidents on our roads.
