Let’s Join Hands to Build A New ESOCS – Baba Aladura Bob-Manuel By Mike Oduiyi and Felicia Ayelo
Baba Aladura Dr. David D.L. Bob-Manuel, the Prelate of the Eternal Sacred Order of the Cherubim and Seraphim Worldwide/ has called on all CMCs, Provinces and members of the Holy Order to join hands with him in a building Church that is founded on the love of God and righteousness.
Addressing the combined PCMC meeting preceding the Ordination service of junior ranks in the Ebute Meta and Ojokoro provinces held on Saturaday, December 2, 2017 at the ESOCS General Headquarters Ebute Meta, HME Bob-Manuel said that a new dawn beckons in the Church, adding that the time has come to return the Church to the days when righteousness and holy living were its hallmarks.
According to the HME, taking into cognizance that righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach to any people, the policies that will be made by the Board henceforth, would be tailored towards meeting the challenges of the new era.
“l beckon on you all to key into the objectives we have set for the new era. l know it may not be easy but I am confident we shall succeed with God on our side because the policies come from good intentions,” Bob-Manuel stated.
“We only need to move away from carnality and rediscover our spirituality. We must do away with things that divide us and set us against one another. Instead, we must deliberately straighten the bonds of fellowship and build love among us,” the Prelate added.
HME Bob-Manuel commended all the elders and officers of CMC1 and those of Ebute Metta and Ojokoro provinces who had been steering the affairs of the provinces and the church in general all these years, and prayed for God’s wisdom and strength for them to match on with determination and zeal to move the provinces to a greater height.
“History will not forget you if you leave your provinces and the CMC better than you met them. May God reward you eternally,” he stated.
The Prelate reiterated the directive to all provinces and CMCs to embark on building schools and guest houses within a period of five years, stating that the projects are very dear to him because of the strong believe that they will become a source of revenue for the church and “a means to fulfilling our corporate responsibility to the society.”
